Microwave Oatmeal Cookie Bars Ohio Reformatory for Women Megan 24 graham cracker squares finely crushed 6 Tbsp sugar 4 Tbsp powdered french vanilla creamer 1 Pack instant oatmeal, maple & brown sugar 4 oz butter - melted 2 Tbsp water - 1 Tbsp for cookie bars and 1 Tbsp for icing In a 3 cup bowl, mix graham crackers, oatmeal and 1 Tbsp sugar well Add butter and combine with a fork Incorporate approx 1 Tbsp water to make equivalent of moist graham cracker crust Pat down well Cook in microwave 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until cookies start to swell in places Cook one more minute, pat down, cut immediately, set aside Icing In a 5-6 cup bowl, mix 5 Tbsp sugar and 4 Tbsp creamer with just enough hot tap water for dry ingredients to come together - approx 1 Tbsp (It is easy to add too much water.) Boil in microwave, watching closely. Stir and repeat for a total of 3 times bringing to a boil. Pour immediately over cookie squares and enjoy.
